Insurance

Practice Overview

An insurance policy is literally a contract between the insurer and the insured. Disputes may arise from areas including:

  • Material non-disclosure;
  • Wrongful repudiation;
  • Declarations;
  • Waivers; and
  • the meaning and effect of warranties and conditions; and
  • Fraudulent misrepresentation.

Members of Pacific Chambers have appeared on behalf of the insured and insurer in various insurance litigations and related regulatory issues.
