Clement is a general practitioner with a broad range of practice in both civil and criminal litigation. He joined chambers upon completion of pupillage with Mr Andrew Li, Mr Hectar Pun SC, Mr Michael Delaney, Mr Bernard Man SC and Mr Frederick Chan. Upon completion of pupillage, Clement has focused his practice in areas of commercial litigation, including shareholders dispute, contract claims, winding up petitions and insolvency claims; matrimonial proceedings; land and tenancy disputes, including adverse possession, DMC and mortgagee actions before the Lands Tribunal; judicial review; intellectual properties and defamation; and personal injuries cases.

Clement has also been instructed to appear on his own in the Court of Appeal and the Court of Final Appeal.

In relation to Clement’s criminal practice, he has considerable experience in legal visits to the police station, making pleas in mitigation, bail applications and attended trial hearings in Magistrates Courts.

Clement is also regularly appointed as mediator in a wide range of family and personal injuries disputes.

Clement is also a part-time lecturer for the PCLL course of the University of Hong Kong since 2016.

Clement is bilingual and is available to conduct cases in both English and Chinese.
